Providing Hope for Cancer Patients and Their Families

Cancer is a life changing event. Too often patients are left with financial and emotional stress over their prognosis and treatment. Patients are forced to adjust their lifestyle to manage treatment and care. Because of this, many patients and their families experience economic hardship during their treatment.
As part of First Coast Oncology's dedication to compassionate care, we have established the First Coast Cancer Foundation to help ease the financial burden of cancer patients in Northeast Florida and provide cancer education and support.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for those touched by cancer by offering patient support services, including financial support, educational programs and counseling.

Mr. Tony Waller and his family were barely making ends meet when he received a
cancer diagnosis. His home's electricity was scheduled to be turned off the following day.
The family needed help and reached out to the First Coast Cancer Foundation.
The Foundation was able to arrange to keep the Waller's electricity on and provided
gas cards to help with their daily trips to First Coast Oncology for treatment.
